Mardi Gras In Ocean Springs : The Crowd

This is the Mardi Gras Parade in Ocean Springs Mississippi, started at 1:00 in the afternoon. We situated ourselves in Porter Avenue together with some cousins. I am the official photographer of this blog (LOL) and it would mean, I am not in the scene. Don't ask me why, it would only ruin my day. Anyway, This is the crowd. Cheering to the people on the float who are throwing out beads.
This is the crowd on the other side. As you notice, there are so many kids who are so excited to get the beads...notice they wear it already, so colorful.
I just took a snap on this man dancing on the roof of his car. The crowd really dance along on the music played by the band. Well, I did too...LOL!
I love this crowd. Everybody did have a fun time here.
Some police men on their motorcycle making a way for the parade. As what I observed, so many of this people come with their family. This is a big event for this place and they do Mardi Gras annually. The floats and the bands are not as spectacular as the CITRUS PARADE in Orlando but, I really feel the excitement and the joy of the crowd. They cheer all the way. Beads are flying everywhere from the start of the parade until the last float.
