We paid less than $45/day with tax inclusive. Actually, we use a coupon which is available in the rest area. It is very clean, the sheets smell good and it seems that our room is built new. As you can see from the picture below, there is an end table which I use for my blogging business. They offer FREE Wi-Fi and FREE hot breakfast. We tried to request a room with fridge and microwave but, there was no available at that time. The guest were mostly tourist. The housekeeping staffs were very friendly and courteous. We were happy with our stay because the room is very clean and it matters bigtime. The area is very safe because it is located in or near Belle Isle Neighborhood which is one of the rich neighborhoods in Orlando. This hotel has a descent pool and very private. Our room is actually #340, we were in the third floor but, this hotel has elevator which is really good.
I can only speak of my experience while staying in this hotel, in this specific room. We were happy and satisfied because the location is the right place for us. Airport is just nearby. I Will Miss Mississippi

Anytime soon, we will be leaving Mississippi and I am so excited. Don't get me wrong though, I love this place. The view is truly fantastic. I love the casinos and I will be missing the seafood.We live just 5 minutes away from the beach with the beautiful scenic view of the Gulf of Mexico. We actually live inside Gulf Islands National Seashore in Mississippi. If you are familiar with my blog, I wrote about the wonderful places here and the amazing view by the beach.

Since we live in the national park, animals such as rabbits, deers and turtle are common in our backyard. Well, I will surely miss this place because I got my first real job here and I found friends here too. The picture above were taken in Harbor Landing, one of my favorite place to hang out.

I love to buy things which are interesting in colors, shape or design. These watches are made in Japan and these are simple but affordable. I love the style and the simple details in these watches. In-expensive watch is fun to wear to match up with clothes, shoes or purse.

I seldom wear them but, love collecting them and give it to my cousins and friends. Actually, I don't like wearing accessories but, I do admire simple stuff like these watches.

Movies are great, whether they are old or new. I love to see at least a couple of them a week. Until recently, I was behind the curve in terms of technology. The movies were relaxing, yet something was missing.

Breakfast at the Beau Rivage

Today, we went to Beau Rivage Hotel and Casino for breakfast. I miss my co-workers in Boomtown so, I arranged a breakfast get-together with Sam and Debbie. It was fun to see them both and catch up with what's going on in their lives. The ambiance of this place is awesome! Did I tell you that this is my favorite casino here in Biloxi? Yes! I love the Beau!
Anyway, Sam is my best friend in my workplace. He is black and we get along good because we are good workers in the casino. You will never see us hiding to get away from the tasks of our job. If it is an 8 hour job, we are up on our feet. We really wished that other workers worked the same as we did but, hey....everyone is different! Debbie is our lead. She is really a hard working lead and like any other boss, she had her share of disappointments when it comes to her subordinates. But, life must go on! Sam and Debbie hang on, extending more patient in the workplace. For me, I had to leave for other reasons.

Here is the gigantic Beau Rivage. If I stay here in Biloxi, I want to work in the hotel especially in the Beau Rivage. If you happen to pass by Biloxi and Highway 90, visit this casino or stay in their hotel. The experience inside is different!

Tunnel

I have so many pictures saved in my blackberry which I would love to share to you all. As you noticed, the color caption is not good because I mess the setting of the camera. Eventhough the picture is bad, I would still like to share it to you. When I have my roadtrip from Florida to Mississippi, this place is my favorite. When we travel the bridge nearby the Battleship display area, I always took few pictures of this beautiful place.

The Best Italian Restaurant Around

My absolute favorite restaurant to eat dinner at is the Olive Garden. Coming from an Italian family, I enjoy the taste of exquisite food. When I leave my house for a night out at this restaurant, I set my Texas home securityalarm and I'm at the Olive Garden in just a few minutes. As soon as I walk in the door, they treat you like you are family. And after I eat my meal, I walk out of there fuller than any other restaurant I have ever been to. I love how they serve you a salad or soup first, breadsticks, an appetizer if you ordered one, and then your meal. They give you just the right amount of every course that by the time you receive your meal, you have just enough if not more room to eat it. The waiters and waitresses make sure to check on me every now and then and see if I need anything. I went there for my birthday a few years ago and they made sure to make it a really positive experience for me. They sang me their own happy birthday song and gave me this delicious chocolate cake. Plus, they have quite the variety of Italian food, such as Chicken Alfredo noodles and Italian marinated chicken. They are by far the best restaurant in town.

Home Search

The whole month of July is like a whirlwind. My dad passed away, he had a military funeral, we start packing our things, give some to the thrift store, and hire people to clean the house. This month, we are still in the process of finding a new home for me and my husband. We are back in Orlando and have this home search rendezvous. Our first two offers was turned down but, we are determined to find our place before the end of this month. Wish us luck!
