I am so tired of walking to the mailbox, only to return with a handful of bills. They never seem to end! It has almost become trivial that the mail contains anything but junk or bills. Letters and postcards have become a thing of the past. The only person that I ever even get letters from anymore is my 86-year old grandmother. I even noticed this holiday season that we received fewer Christmas cards than we did last year. In an attempt to make the bills appear less frequently, my husband and I have tried bundling as many services as possible. We checked out wildblue special bundles for all of our communication needs. My hope is that between combining many of our home services and switching to online bill pay for as many of our monthly bills as possible, the trip to the mailbox won’t be quite so painful. Of course if we don’t receive paper bills in the mail anymore, the box will simply become a dumping ground for the inevitable junk mail that never ceases.
