Just a while ago, my friend made a shout out on her wall which says, "Stop sending me game invitations! I don't play games on Facebook!" Whew! That was a strong shout out right? I can understand the frustrations because; I shared the same feeling about that as well. It didn't affect me now because I modified my notifications. If receiving game invitation to play on Facebook was annoying for you then, modify your account and privacy settings. Do it now and when you modify your settings, you can chill out. That will solve the problem.
Some of us have extra time to play games online. Some of us have extra time to play games online. When I am bored, I accepted some invitations too. I play puzzle games that emphasize puzzle solving. When it focuses on logical and conceptual challenges, I am driven to get the highest score. If there is a time-pressure element, I stay awake and boredom will never exist in my vocabulary anymore! Playing games online is not bad at all. Skills can be developed and that includes logic, strategy, pattern recognition, sequence solving, and word completion.
Playing a game motivates our minds so; just give it a try especially when you have an idle time. I never tried the free Slots Fever on Facebook but, I saw the ads. I was just waiting for someone to invite me besides; the player needs to download the adobe flash player to play the game. My desktop has none of that yet but, as what I've said, I will give this game a try when I have invitation from friends.
Be reminded that when you accept an app to play the games online, make sure that you modify who can see and received the app updates in your wall. If you don't modify the privacy setting, your friends will be receiving notifications and invitation of the game you played on Facebook. That is a big "No-No" right? Go ahead and modify your account settings in Facebook now.
